Professional Kitchens and Their Catering Equipment Requirements
Although there are a wide range of catering equipment pieces available for use in professional kitchens, each establishment will have its own unique requirements. A business which deals purely in cooked food for example will not require anything in the way of ice cream displays or cake display cabinets. They will however need heated displays, cookers and ovens as well as frozen storage units such as chest freezers.
The majority of equipment is constructed from stainless steel for a few reasons although there are cheaper pieces available in food safe plastic or aluminium. The use of these materials is purely down to their hygienic properties which is a large factor in the preparation and handling of food. Even the smallest cabinet should be made from an easy to clean material. No matter which exact pieces a kitchen requires it is important that functions and hygiene factors are considered in purchasing.
Applebees is the Place to Go in 2011!
So, as I sit here, I have finally found a few great applebees coupons to use on my next visit. I try to help all of my visitors find the best coupons for that particular month to help them save money when they visit their favorite place to eat. Once in a while I will go to applebees coupons and browse around. They usually have a good selection when it comes to the latest applbees offers and promotional codes. I don’t know where they find these but its pretty amazing. They have all the latest codes on the market. I think they are actually applied to their email alerts and they sift through all of that information and post the best coupons available at the moment. There you have it, the best way and the only way to get these valuable coupons. If you don’t know where to look, I suggest you go to the site.
The Tavern, London, Just Around the Corner from Waterloo
My favourite drinking haunt is a little pub which I sometimes will pop into on my way home from work as it is just round the corner from Waterloo station. It is called the Tavern. It’s dark and dingy and smells a but musty but has the most eclectic atmosphere. The beer coasters show caricatures of local people in the area, which I find very amusing. All the tables and chairs are mismatched and slightly sticky, but this just adds to the character of the place. The prices are reasonable and they have a good selection on ales and beers, not just the usual run on the mill. There is also a good food menu; none of this noveau cuisine stuff, just proper pub food, fish and chips, bangers and mash as well as a curries, steaks and pies. And the puddings are out of this world, we’re talking sticky toffee pudding, rice pudding, spotted dick to name a few all of which come with thick, creamy and slightly lumpy custard so you know it’s just been homemade. All in all, a lovely place to spend a winters evening.
Getting Something to Eat
Sometimes when I get home from work the last thing that I want to worry about is cooking something to eat for dinner. While I can always make a sandwich or eat a frozen pizza, many times I crave a more substantial meal. There are many takeaway places in Brighton so it is very convenient for me to stop and get something on the way from the office. I like many types of food, but Indian food is my absolute favorite. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than digging into a plate of lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, or prawn vindaloo. The good thing is that there are places that will deliver the food to me in case I do not feel like stopping. If you live in Brighton and you want to find out what places are available near you then do a Google search for “indian takeaway brighton.”
